Meet the peeps

You've probably seen all those wonderful pictures of all those equally wonderful people on the front page. They're called peeps. Click on the peep you like, and we'll forward you to their weblog, website, Facebook profile, whatever. Easy.

Peeps are sorted by popularity, which is based on clicks and referals. The more people click on a peep, the higher it will be displayed on the front page.

If you have a website, too, you're invited to add your peep, too! It's crazy fun!

What's in it for me?

mad traffic to your weblog/website/etc.! use a picture that makes people want to find out more about you. Remember, the more popular your peep is, the higher up it will show on the front page, attracting even more visitors. It's crazy! But that is how we Germans roll!

Is this thing really powered by secret German technology?

Jawohl! Are you doubting me? I would tell you all about it, but then I would have to kill you. The less critical parts, though, are powered by the most excellent Ruby on Rails.
